Married to Him by Senica Evans is a very intriguing book that discusses her previous marriage that she was able to stay in for 5 years. I just received this book in the mail yesterday yet after reading the back cover I knew it was something that I wanted to read right away. As a matter of fact this book is such a page turner that I actually read the book all in one sitting.
When first starting the book it seems as though Senica is going to be getting into a wonderful relationship with a true gentleman by the name of Spank. However, after he pops the question things start taking a turn for the worst yet Senica still goes ahead and marries him. During there marriage the “gentleman” leaves Spank and he turns into a real nightmare. In fact, I do not know how she was able to deal with all of his nonsense at all. He was abusive verbally yet you would have thought he was abusive physically. I am glad in the end she finally found a way to put an end to it even though you would think the divorce would be the end.
Overall, Married To Him is a good read for any woman or man for that matter who may be young and thinking about getting married. It shows how there are signs that you should be on the lookout for before you become married. Also, it helps you see how relationships that feature verbal abuse can be worst than physical abuse. Wounds heal a whole lot quicker than the scars from words do.
Married To Him is not a long book at all. As I mentioned earlier I was able to read it in one sitting. It is descriptive and if you have ever been in a bad relationship you should be able to relate. Not to mention the fact that it keeps you pondering as to what is going to happen next. I highly recommend that if you have the time you check it out.
