I recently started Daily Burn to try to get myself to a goal weight of 145. I started at 150 and I am now at 151.8. I gained a pound apparently but I will not let that disappoint me and I am going to continue my Daily Burn journey for the next 83 days to see what I accomplish.
My Thoughts after My Second Workout
Technically, it is after 12am in my time zone so today I am going to be doing two workouts. Yesterday, I was so sore from my first workout that I waited until midnight to do my second workout, which was The Cardio Sculp. This workout was much easier than the first workout in my opinion. It mainly focused on my arms, which are apparently stronger than they look.
I went to Wal-Mart and purchased two 5-pound weights today so now I can incorporate them into my workouts. I thought 5 pounds would be a little much but I was able to use them in all of the exercises accept the jumping jacks. I hope in the upcoming weeks I will be able to add it to those too. For now, I am just excited that for two days in a row I have made it through the entire workout without stopping or giving up.
Daily Burn Challenge
When I posted my Day 1 Workout, I forgot to mention that Daily Burn has a challenge in each of their workouts. Today, the Challenge was a push up challenge. I was able to do 19 pushups in 60 seconds. Their average rating for my age range is 28 so I still have some work to do yet I did not even think I would make it that far for someone who hates doing pushups.
I like Daily Burn so far. I do not know how I will feel when I get up in the morning but I am hoping to fit in my work out again today so I can be back on track. If I am not too sore when I wake, I am going to get straight into workout mode and will be able to update you on how that goes. If not, I will be working out again before bed.
