Religions across the globe all share one important practice: Everyone Prays!
Prepare to be transported around the world to learn about the central role of prayer. Discover the Native American sun dance ceremony, visit the sacred sites in Jerusalem, behold the Shinto shrines in Japan, watch Maasai dances in Kenya, see pilgrimages to the river Ganges in India, and much, much more!
When I was contacted by Wisdom Tales to review Everyone Prays: Celebrating Faith around the World by Alexis York Lumbard and illustrated by Alireza Sadeghian I was eager to do so. I liked the message of the book and my boys needed some new reading material too. Everyone Prays is an excellent storybook that is filled with bold text and many pictures. My boys and I read it one night and they loved the photos and the story too.
Everyone Prays not only has beautifully illustrated photos that will bring questions from your little ones. However, it also is a perfect book for your little ones to practice reading with. The words are big and the sentences are short which made it perfect for my four year old to repeat after me while reading.
Overall, this is one of the children books that I would highly recommend.
