#ChristmasTown @BuschGardensVA Was a Chilly Blast

photo 3 photo 4

On Friday November 21, the boys and I headed out to Busch Gardens for the grand opening of Christmas Town. We went last year and had a blast so we were looking forward to seeing what they had in store for us this year. This year the boys were even more excited because it happened to fall on my oldest son’s birthday, which was a great way to start his birthday weekend.

Christmas Town Lighting Ceremony

When we arrived the first thing on our to do list was to see the Christmas Town Lighting Ceremony. This was where Christmas Town first lit up. We did the countdown and then Christmas Town came to life. It was a wonderful experience and the boys loved seeing everything light up before their eyes.

We visited a few places before finally heading to Dinner at Santa’s Fireside Feast. Here the boys were able to take photos with Santa, listen to Santa read a story, have a delicious meal, and taste Mrs. Claus tasty Christmas cookies. My youngest son Bentley really enjoyed listening to the story and all of the boys loved eating the cookies. I must admit the food they served was tasty too. If you are planning on going to Christmas Town, I definitely recommend stopping by here.

Closing Thoughts

We did not get to do everything at Busch Gardens because it was so cold out and the boys started getting cranky because of the cold. However, what we did experience was great and Busch Gardens even has PhotoKeys available now, which allow you to take photos throughout the park and be able to access them easily on the PhotoKey app so you can share with your social media and family and friends in real time.

I definitely would recommend that families check out Christmas Town at Busch Gardens because it is a fun experience for the entire family. Adults and children are sure to love it, just make sure that you dress warm.
