2015 is now in full effect, which means many individuals have made “New Year’s Resolutions” to lose weight. More than likely you have done your research and found what you thought was the “best weight loss plan” and you know which foods you need to cut from your diet and which exercises will help you tone and firm your problem areas. You start the year off confident knowing that you will reach your weight loss goal and go full speed ahead.
Trust me, I know, and I am sure you know I know. I start fitness challenges for myself throughout the year each year in hopes to get my body back in shape. Honestly, who doesn’t want to look good naked?
I may start to crave a food like fried chicken (my diet motivations go out the window) or burry myself in work as an excuse to why I cannot work out. The next thing I know I miss one day of my plan and days turn into weeks, and well you know the story from there.
Recently, I read a book by the name of The Affirmation Advantage and it provides you with the tools that you need to fight the mental weight loss battle AND WIN!
Giveaways 4 Mom Review
If you are, someone who desires to lose weight, you know what a mental battle it can be. Emmett Holbrook wrote The Affirmation Advantage specifically for you.
As someone who is not overweight but not at my ideal weight, I also know how it can be mentally draining when you are trying to lose weight yet it seems as though it is just not coming off. Therefore, when I downloaded this book, I was hoping that it would provide me with some sense of what I was doing wrong.
To my surprise, the opening of the book includes some gifts from Emmett that are helpful for your weight loss journey. Therefore, as soon as I saw that, I had already set some high expectations for the book and hoped that it would help me gain weight loss motivation.
As I continued to read the book, I loved how the author spoke out to me directly and provided health affirmations. Regardless, of what diet plan you are currently following this book can provide you with some insights. He even inserted his own personal experiences to show that he is not a fraud and actually knows what he is talking about when it comes to weight loss.
I do not know about you, but I would rather take advice from someone who has gone through what I have gone through already, so I will have a better chance of being a success.
Overall, this is a good read with a lot good information and weight loss affirmations. The author even includes studies to expand on the points he is trying to make.
