- Too Anxious to Sleep
You are constantly thinking about the things from your to-do-list that were complete during the day. You may be in bed but your mind is not relaxing and you are not getting an adequate amount of sleep. When you finally drift off into a deep sleep you find the alarm buzzing in what feels like minutes. Throughout the next day you are overly exhausted and running around trying to finish a never ending chore list, which you have to complete with only three hours of sleep.
- The Narcoleptic
You are so tired that you cannot remember what you were doing. One moment you are asking the kids to clean up and the next you are cleaning the kitchen. After a brief pause you forget the current task at hand and move on to the next.
- Caffeine Resistant
Many moms have the habit of resorting to caffeine to remain awake. However, you are to the point where coffee and energy drinks do not help you stay awake. Your body is no longer able to function and caffeine cannot even keep your eyelids open. It may add on a couple of minutes but sleep cannot be fought anymore.
