Usually, I don’t get a ton of sleep, so when I am asleep I need to make sure that it is good quality sleep. Nothing is worse than going to sleep and waking up more exhausted than when you laid down. I have found some things that allow me to actually wake up feeling refreshed and I am sharing them with you today.
Fresh sheets and blankets always help me go to sleep instantly. I actually keep three sets in my closet to make changing the bed, when I am settling into my nighttime routine easier. I don’t know what it is about it, but it helps me drift off super quick.
I especially love the SmartSilk Comforter.
The SmartSilk Comforter allows you to not only sleep well but sleep healthy also. This all-season comforter forms to your body while you sleep and automatically adjusts to your temperature. It’s breathable and certifiable asthma & allergy friendly. It’s strong barrier blocks out dust mites and allergens.
I will say that the two downsides of this comforter are that it can be loud when moving under it and it will be a little stiff your first couple of uses. However, despite those downsides, from my very first time using it I got a great night’s sleep. In fact, I woke up 15 minutes later than I was supposed to.
I rotate bedding quite frequently and fresh bedding does the trick. The SmartSilk Comforter to my amazement has been able to stand going through the wash twice and it did not bunch up, shrink, or anything.

How often do you change your pillows? Do you know there are numerous reasons to keep fresh pillows on your bed? While fresh pillows will help you fall asleep quicker, other benefits may motivate you to change your pillows out more often too.
When I change my pillows out, I get the best sleep ever. Currently, I am sleeping on some memory foam pillows so that also is helping me sleep better too.
When purchasing pillows you have to make sure you select some that will assist you in sleeping from the start. Not all pillows are the same. I have tried numerous pillows and each one of them has had different qualities.
Lavender Essential Oils
Lastly, lavender essential oils are one of my musts. I either have lavender burning in candle form, wax melt, or oil in the diffuser.
Some people find the scent of lavender to be extremely too strong. Essential oils have a ton of uses, so even if lavender is not a scent that is your type, you are sure to find an essential oil that will help you drift off to sleep.
Overall, when I have these three things I will be able to drift off to sleep quickly. Four hours can easily feel like seven. Keep in mind; you also want to avoid drinking a ton of beverages, eating directly before lying down, and sleeping with the television on.
