As a mom of three boys, I know how expensive it can be to have to purchase three car seats as your kids grow in size. However, the Diono Olympia Shadow has a solution for this!
About the Diono Olympia Shadow
This car seat makes sure that when your kids are in the car they are safe. It features deep side walls, which provide enhanced side impact protection, which takes car seats to an entirely new level.
It can be used as a rear facing car seat, which can comfortably hold children from five to 45 pounds without a problem. Additionally, it can be used as a forward facing car seat, which comfortably holds children 20 to 70 pounds in a 5-point harness mode. Lastly, it can convert to a booster seat for children from 50 to 110 pounds or up to 57 inches in height.
The Diono Olympia Shadow includes the super-strong SuperLATCH system, which makes installing it quick and easy and it has been NCAP crash tested, which is the industry benchmark for verifying child seat performance in severe accident conditions. It even features Safety Synergy technology, which adds even more value when it comes to making sure that the highest level of performance and safety is provided for your children.
Giveaways 4 Mom Review
My son has been using this car seat for a month now and he loves it. At first, I delayed writing this review because of all of the mom shaming that has been going on throughout the web, but I decided to go ahead and face the situation and get the word out about this amazing car seat. However, before I begin please refrain from commenting about the way my son is strapped into his car seat and the fact that he is facing in the front. Everyone has their own preferences and putting my son in a rear facing position would result in him screaming the entire ride until we reached the destination.
Anyways, let’s get started.
Overall, the Diono Olympia has a 4.5-star rating from past reviewers. I honestly would give it a five-star rating. This is the best car seat that I have come across since I became a mom. It is a 200% upgrade from my son’s other car seat, which is a standard one that was purchased from Walmart.
The car seat comes with everything that you need to easily install it for any of the three modes (rear facing, front facing, or booster seat). I was able to have it installed in under five minutes and my little one was too eager to get in his car seat. This was a huge shocker because usually he is not so antsy to get into his car seat.
Looks wise it looks cool in my opinion. Therefore, with this car seat, you are not only getting a car seat that is verifiably safe for your kids, but you are also getting one that is not hard on the eyes either. From my experience, it is hard finding car seats that are safe and are actually appealing too. Therefore, I always have to go with the boring ones to ensure the boys are safe. However, Diono makes sure you get the best of both worlds.
Lastly, the car seat allows you to save space, both in and out of the car. The seat does not appear as bulky as his prior car seat and it easily folds up for storage when not inside of the car.
Overall, I have nothing bad to say about the Diono Olympia Shadow besides the fact that I wish I had learned about it sooner.
