Household products are something that I do tend to forget on shopping lists sometimes. I’ve learned to take inventory before I make my list now to “Avoid the Oops” of forgetting something important. These 8 products are items that I use regularly and have learned to always have extra of in the house.
Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash with Shea Butter
Relaxing after a long day with a hot shower is something I look forward to every day. The Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash with Shea Butter smells refreshing and comforting. It leaves me feeling clean, fresh and pampered.
Charmin Freshmates Flushable Wipes
Flushable wipes are great for times when you think you have enough toilet paper to make it to the next store trip but it doesn’t quite make it. They are also great additions to travel bags and on day-trips when public restrooms may not have been kept up.
Gillette Simply Venus Disposable Razors
Since most of my not-so-local friends and family are female, I try to always have extra razors on-hand. I forget to buy them myself sometimes. It can be difficult to gauge how many times you can use a disposable before it dulls, so you might think that your razor is still good when you go to use it only to find that it’s dull and ready for the trash.
Crest 3D White Luxe Glamorous White
Toothpaste is a common toiletry that lasts a bit longer than other types of personal hygiene products. There’s nothing worse than getting ready to go run errands, go out with friends or prepare for a family event and realizing you’re out of toothpaste, so it’s a staple on my summer stock-up P&G product list.
Tide Simply Clean Fresh HE Liquid Laundry Detergent
Laundry detergent is another item that I always need extra of. With three boys it seems like laundry is something that is never done. Tide gets clothes clean and it doesn’t cause any sort of skin irritations to occur.
Febreze Air Effects
I need to have Febreeze on-hand at all times because you never know when a friend may call and say they are 10 minutes away. You haven’t had time to clean the house yet, and remnants from dinner may be scenting the air. Febreeze makes my house smell fresh, clean and always ready for company, announced or not.
Dawn Original Dishwashing Detergent
How often do you find dishes in the kids’ rooms that aren’t supposed to be there? It happens here all the time. I go through extra dish washing detergent just having to make extra sinks of water to soak the dishes. Dawn, thankfully, doesn’t require me to use much so it does last a long time.
Charmin Basic Toilet Paper
Toilet paper is something that always seems to disappear in my house. It’s almost time for summer break from school, which means I will have more house guests with the kids having friends over for play dates and sleepovers. Buying the bigger packages of toilet paper is going to really help this summer.
I was impressed that the order on Walmart.com only cost me about $50. Stocking up on household things usually costs more elsewhere. I wasn’t expecting my order until Saturday, but it arrived 2 days early on Thursday. I was pretty excited that I didn’t have to ration the supplies that I had on-hand.
