Have you heard of Dolphin Browser before? Me either, well until recently. I am an iPhone user and always use my default browser when browsing the web from my phone as I have a ton of apps on my phone already and need to keep free space you know. However, that may have changed now that I have experienced the Dolphin Browser.
Today, I am going to share my experience using the Dolphin Browser as well as tell you more about this app in general.
About Dolphin Browser
The Dolphin Browser is a fast, smart, and free mobile app that aims to make smartphone users web surfing experience easy and intuitive. It has a ton of cool features such as being able to train it to adapt to your browsing habits, creating signature gestures, smart voice search (Sonar), tabbed browsing, various modes, sidebars, Dolphin Connect, and much more.
When on the home screen you can speed dial shortcuts, add bookmarks, share content, change themes, and more. When in the left side bar, you can manage bookmarks and clear/view your browsing history.
My Thoughts on the Dolphin Browser
Honestly, before actually spending some time on the app, I felt that this was just going to be another app that takes up space on my phone and I never used. Boy, I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Well, the first time I tried to use the app, it was forced to just test it out, so I went to my Twitter account. This was probably a bad move because I found it a pain to have to log in manually when I could just open the Twitter app and already be signed in and have access to all of my Twitter accounts.
Anyways, one night, while unwinding in bed I wanted to do some web surfing for some things that were just running through my mind. I clicked on the browser and then that experience is what has now made the Dolphin Browser my go to browsing app.
Why is that you ask?
I can tell a difference from using this browser versus the iPhone browser already installed on my phone. The main thing I love about it is how fast it moves. My standard browser can take ages to load at times. However, the Dolphin Browser moves lighting fast. I am someone who always wants things to happen right then, so I was sold once it sunk in that, “Wow, this browser moves super-fast”. Additionally, the other features are amazing too. I am still playing around with them, learning the app more, but so far things are going good.
I know my schedule is already busy with working and taking care of the kids. It always seems like I don’t have enough hours in the day. However, apps like Dolphin Browser, make getting the information that I need quick and easy.
Have you tried the Dolphin Browser yet? If so, what was your experience like?
