When you don’t have time for a nap and are just low on energy, getting creative with recharging your body might leave you at a standstill. I have tried many products from energy drinks to exercise. I was given the opportunity to try Balance bars. When you crave something sweet and satisfying to pick you up, Balance bars could be exactly what you need for that extra boost.
Good carbohydrates, like those included in Balance bars, help your body produce energy. Carbohydrates disguised as a candy bar or something unhealthy are oddly ideal for satisfying cravings. There are over 20 flavors of scientifically formulated recipes to choose from.
You can justify your sweet and salty cravings with an indulgence when it is balanced for nutritional purposes like Balance products are. It is a guilty pleasure without the guilt. Your snack may look unhealthy, but every product by this brand is under 200 calories.
If you cannot decide which craving to satisfy (sweet or salty), choose an option that satisfies both. A bit of dark chocolate with a hint of salt is quite satisfying.
Fight Hunger with Balance Bars
The snack bars made by Balance are a great source of protein. They are also a source of healthy fat and carbohydrates to help make you feel satisfied between meals. Instead of grabbing a salty, sweet snack, you could opt for a protein or energy bar that is balanced for improved nutrition instead.
The Balance Chocolate Peppermint Patty alone has 6 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber to help your body get a bit of an energy boost.
Even those with some dietary restrictions can often have one of these bars between meals as a means of curbing hunger.
My Personal Thoughts
Prior to trying Balance bars, I looked online to see what others who had tried the product thought. I received mixed reviews so I was not sure what to expect. Upon trying the bars, I did not like the taste. To get another point of view, I asked a friend to try the bars as well. My friend said they felt “tricked” and did not like the taste. My overall opinion is that the bars are bland and do not taste like the ingredients listed on the package. Although my assessment of the product is not completely favorable, it does not mean that you should not try the bars yourself as you may enjoy them.
