The countdown for back to school is officially on!
Usually, summer drags by for me, but this summer it flew by quickly. Between landing some new clients for my business and the boys doing football practice Monday – Friday to doing different things on the weekend, we have been super busy.
Now for August, I have had to buckle down and get busy with preparing them for school. I have some school supplies for them already, but there is still a ton of things left to purchase including their entire school wardrobes.
With three kids in elementary this year I’m not playing any games because back to school shopping could easily total $1,000 or more. So, instead of waiting until the last possible moment, I’m starting now and doing different hauls at stores that will land me the best deals.
One store that has some awesome deals on toddler clothes, which two of my boys can still thankfully wear, is Gymboree.
I’ve shopped them a few times in the outlets, but for some reason, I have never thought about using them for the bulk of school clothes until now.
Today, I just wanted to share a few of the awesome deals that I found in case some of you still have clothing shopping left to do before school officially kicks back in.
These Monkey Sneakers are just the cutest little shoes I have ever seen. My four-year-old still loves shoes like this while his older brothers try to rob me blind with their Jordan’s and Air Forces. As you probably know there is a huge price difference. For example, these cute little sneakers are only $8.99 and they can last a while since they don’t have any shoe strings. What a win, right?
Like me, my youngest son has a shoe fetish. I’ll go ahead and be honest and reveal that he has the most shoes out of all the boys because he is obsessed with them and since he doesn’t care if they aren’t an expensive sneaker I can get him 3-4 shoes for the same price and one pair of shoes for the older boys.
These Monster Sneakers are another pair of easy to slip on sneakers that are cute and only cost $19.77. Can you say another great deal?
To keep the monster theme running, Gymboree also has a cute Monster Hoodie available, which will come in handy during the end of September when the temperatures start to drop. The hoodie is available up to size 5t and has cute little monster ears, which is perfect for my soon to be a kindergartner.
While my oldest son is obsessed with Spiderman, and my middle son loves Ninja Turtles, my baby bear is obsessed with Batman and Ninja Turtles.
Guess what, Gymboree even has a Batman backpack available that is the perfect size to hold his agenda, weekly folders, library books and anything else that the teacher might send home.
Final Thoughts on Back to School Shopping at Gymboree
Okay, this article could honestly go on for days because Gymboree has some great items available for back to school. These are just some of the things that my boys and I like, however, make no mistake, you can go over to their website in the sale section and find shirts as low as $4.
The best part is if you’re like me and prefer online shopping versus going to a store, or don’t have a Gymboree close by, you can spend $75 and get free shipping.
If you shop around carefully, that could be 10-15 back to school items for $75, which puts a dent into your back to school shopping list.
Have you ever shopped Gymboree for back to school clothes?
P.S. If you have friends who are looking for a deal on back to school clothes also, make sure you sign up for Gymboree’s affiliate program and pass them your link.
