Nectar Mattress is one of the most popular mattresses on the market right now. You’ve probably seen their ads online or heard their customers boasting about it being one of the most comfortable mattresses that they have ever slept on. We’ll I’ve had the chance to try it out it for myself and today I am going to go over the specifications of the mattress, the pros, and cons, and conclude with whether or not I feel that it is the most comfortable mattress.
Since we spend about 1/3 of our lives in bed, it’s important to have a mattress that fits your sleeping needs. Nectar divides their mattress into 5 layers to make sure it checks as many of your boxes as possible.
The Five Layers of the Nectar Mattress
- Tencel Cooling Cover – This cover makes sure that you don’t overheat while sleeping and it is also resistant to bed bugs.
- Quilted Gel Memory Foam – This layer helps with air circulation and helps your body contour to the mattress.
- Gel Memory Foam – This layer ensures that weight is distributed evenly.
- Adaptive HI Core Memory Foam – This controls the amount of bounce that you feel.
- Breathing Base Layer – This is the stable foundation, which makes it possible to use this mattress without a box spring.

Unboxing Nectar Mattress
When I’m trying products for the first time I avoid doing any research on them as far as looking at other’s opinions and watching videos about the item to avoid becoming biased before trying it myself. Therefore, I was surprised that Nectar arrived in a bag instead of a box.
It took me about 20-25 minutes to get the mattress set up, which is a little longer than it normally takes. This could have been because the mattress was in a bag, which was kind of hard to get off, and then you must take it out of the duffle, which was cool, before getting to the actual opening of the mattress.
I’m a little confused why the duffle and an additional bag was needed, but the unboxing experience wasn’t too bad at all.
My Review of the Nectar Mattress
I can really see what all the hype surrounding Nectar is about. I have tried other mattresses and so far, my first memory foam mattress has remained my favorite, but Nectar has now gotten the #1 spot on my list.
The only negative aspect of the mattress is when it’s first unboxed it has a strange odor that lasts for about 48 hours. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say. Plus, they warn you about the smell once you get to the paperwork inside of the mattress.
How it Feels
As you can see from my video, when I first got the mattress set up I felt that the pillows were firm and the mattress was extremely soft. However, once it had been sitting for a few hours it firmed up a bit (not overly firm), and is now the perfect combination of softness and firmness.
The best part is while you’re sleeping if you’re tossing and turning or up and down from bed you don’t affect your partners sleeping – they feel nothing and vice versa.
The mattress does contour to your body, but when you get up it immediately pops into place.
Overall, it has been giving me some comfortable sleep. Once I’m sleeping, I sleep until my alarm goes off in the morning.
Who Would I Recommend the Nectar Mattress To
I would recommend the Nectar Mattress to anyone who wants to experience the most comfortable sleep imaginable. Out of all the mattresses, I have tried to date this one is the most comfortable mattress ever.
It is ideal for children, couples, and singles.
Trust me, I tried to find some cons to list, but other than the odor upon unboxing there are none.
It works with any type of bed and you can get the queen mattress and two pillows for the limited time price of $670.
Does the Nectar Mattress sound like the most comfortable mattress to you?
