In my opinion, one of the worst things about being a female is when “Aunt Flo” comes to visit. Why can’t we just get a text or something that says, “Hey girl, you’re not pregnant enjoy your day” lol. Anyways, obviously, that’s not going to happen. Therefore, today I am sharing some tips that you ladies can use to pamper yourself during that “time of the month”.
Drinking tea, may not sound like pampering to you, but that just means that you haven’t tried the right type of tea. Drink a tea that is specifically for soothing cramps. If you need a good recommendation, check out the Everyday Blend: Cycle Ease. This tea is nothing but the truth.
It is an herbal tea that is 100% caffeine free and has a premium blend of organic red raspberry leaf, organic cramp bark and chamomile combined with hibiscus and strawberry. I personally don’t like the taste plain, but once I add in some honey and lemon it tastes good and with 2 cups a day it makes my cramps more bearable.

Pamper Yourself with a Massage
Treat yourself to a massage at the parlor. Alternatively, if you have a spouse or partner, have them give you a massage. You can’t go wrong with the Dream: Relaxing Massage Oil. This massage oil is non-greasy and it really helps you relax and drift off to sleep since it includes lavender (my favorite scent, yay).
Exfoliate Your Skin
If you’re like me, during that “time of the month”, you just can’t seem to feel clean enough. This is the perfect time to exfoliate. One product that is great to use right before you call it a night is the Dream: Calming Nighttime Sugar Scrub.Who says scrubs have to be rough? This one not only relaxing you, but it is super soft out of the container. In fact, it is so soft I was able to use it on my face. Once washed off, it leaves your skin feeling super soft too. Oh, and it also contains lavender.
Now, here me out before you start thinking I’m crazy. I am referring to something more relaxing like yoga. However, if you’re up for it moderate to intense exercising can help you keep your cramps under control.
Okay, those are my ways for pampering yourself during that “time of the month”, what are yours?
