So, over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to review three mattresses. I’m extremely excited about this because I’ve really needed a new mattress. Fortunately, each was of quality and I’d recommend to family, friends, and of course, my readers. The three mattresses I’ve reviewed were Eight, Yogabed, and Novosbed. Well, I know it’s hard to decide reading each, so I decided to do a comparison post for the three.
What Makes Each Mattress So Great?
Eight boasts of their mattresses being not too firm and not too soft. There are four levels of foam including the reactive foam, supportive transition foam, contouring memory foam, and the high-density support foam. It’s called a smart mattress because it checks on your sleep trends, warms your bed, has a smart alarm, and even home integration tools to connect to other products in your home. Be sure to see about my experience with Eight here.
Novosbed offers a high density, premium memory foam mattress. These range from soft, medium, and firm. It has a superb airflow technology so you keep cool as you sleep. They have a Comfort+ technology set up with a separate layer of foam so it integrates with your mattress. If it’s not right, you can contact them to get a Comfort kit free. Therefore, you can make it as soft or firm as you want yourself. Check out my review of the Novosbed here.
The Yogabed Unplug has gel memory foam, so you’re always cool in bed. It comes with a breathable high-density foam base as well. They have a ton of accessories you can purchase as well to blend with your mattress purchase. Discover my thoughts on Yogabed.
Price is always an important factor, but it’s not as easy as saying what the bottom line cost is. Mattresses are made of different materials, covered differently, and have different warranties. Each of these is priced for a Queen Size Bed.
The Eight Smart Mattress has dimensions measuring 60 X 80 X 10 inches. The list price is $1,099. They even offer financing for as little as $84/mo. with a 0% APR. Because of its technology layer, you do not get to take off and wash the top cover.
The Novosbed mattress starts at $1,099 list price and currently you can get a $100 promotion code, bringing it to $999. Its dimension’s measure 59.5 x 79.5 x 11 inches. This comes in soft, medium, and firm levels. It has a washable top cover.
The Yogabed Unplug™ Mattress comes with a removable cover. The dimensions are 60 x 80 inches. Its list price is $699 and currently on sale for $574. They offer financing options starting at $96/mo.
Trial Period and Warranty Policy
Unbelievably, this is very valuable information for most consumers. It doesn’t matter if you order at home or go to the store to purchase a mattress; you just will never know how you sleep on a mattress unless you try it out. That’s what makes each of these mattress companies so wonderful – you can try it before dedicating yourself to it.
- Eight gives you a 100-day trial period. They offer a 10-Year Limited Foam Warranty.
- Novosbed Mattress gives you a 120-night trial. They offer a 15-Year Full Replacement Warranty.
- Yogabed gives you an 180-day warranty. They offer a 10-year warranty plan.
