Let’s face it, summertime is hard on moms. For 9 months out of the year, we get used to this set routine and then for the remaining 3 months, during the hottest time of the year, everything goes to chaos.

We all love our kids, but the 24/7 for 3 months can be a bit much. Add in working (in my case working from home) while making sure they have three meals a day (plus the snacks they just can’t live without) AND keeping them busy and education at the forefront of their minds requires wearing a bunch of hats.

While the kids may have had what they viewed as the best summer ever, you’ll probably be wiped out and are looking forward to those 7 hours of being kid-free each Monday – Friday.

So, now that you’ve gotten all your back to school shopping out of the way for the kids, it’s time to stock up on back to school essentials for moms.

I love having relaxing fragrances filling up my home. It helps me set the perfect tranquil work environment where I can just zone in and get everything done.

Well, say hello to Alio.

The fragrances are subtle, and they double as an odor neutralizer, which is great if you want to sneak some into your boys’ rooms.

Alio isn’t just about peace for an hour it’s about peace for the entire day.

Even though I don’t have babies anymore, shower time can be a struggle still if not timed right.

From the kids needing something to drink to all sorts of assistance requests the moment I step in the shower; I can honestly say that an unrushed and uninterrupted shower is the highlight of my day once school sets in.

MillCreek Botanicals can help you enjoy showers again too. The MillCreek 2 in 1 Shower & Shave Gel in Lavender scent is the perfect addition to your daily skincare routine.

The Comfy

The Comfy is such as genius invention.

It’s perfect for those cool fall nights where it’s not quite time to cut on the heat yet (according to everyone else) but you’re freezing.

As someone who’s anemic, I know this feeling all too well.

The solution to this problem is…. The Comfy.

Think of it as a wearable thick blanket that’s not heavy at all.

Your kids may laugh at you, but you’ll be warm and comfy for movie and family game nights.

Also, as a work at home mom, I find it works perfectly for chilly mornings as well when you’re trying to get a head start on work.

Archer & Olive

Naturally, in the summer we let our guards down. However, when school comes back into session there must be some sort of organization to everyone schedules.

Ever since I started using a planner at the beginning of the year, I’ve become obsessed. It helps make sure everyone’s schedules align perfectly and some planner designs are super cute.

Archer & Olive caught my eye recently, with their Dot Grid Journals, which can make excellent planners.

This summer I have gotten spoiled with sleep. Well, not really, but I get a few more hours of sleep in the summer than I do in the school year.

Being a work at home mom, I have to juggle so many hats and keep everyone on track, which during the school year leaves me with 4-5 hours of sleep per night.

Therefore, when it’s time to go to bed it’s important that I have a sleep routine and sleep products that will allow me to maximize the few hours I’ll be able to take to rejuvenate myself.

Headleveler is another product that moms can add to their sleep routines this school year. Days are busy with work, meal planning, fitness, afterschool activities, and other things that keep you constantly on the go.

At night things can be different.

Headleveler will allow you to get a get the highest quality of sleep in the time frame that you have. It’s ergonomic to support the back, neck, and shoulders, so you’re aligned correctly throughout the night.

When school goes back into session, that’s my cue to stock up on a few pair of new cute boots.

I love ones that can work as house boots as well as out and about boots.

This year, Lamo’s came on my radar.

They are made from textile yarn and lined with ultra-luxury faux fur. Therefore, they not only look good and feel great, but they also keep your feet warm as well.

Leggings and boots anyone?
