Want to spice things up in the kitchen this week for dinner?
Serving your family bacon chili pepper chicken wraps (BCC) and peach candied yams are sure to be a hit.
This meal does have a good amount of calories, around 700 – 800, for those of you who may be counting calories (like myself). Therefore, I recommend it on cheat days or if you’re fasting.
Candied yams are usually something that I reserve for Thanksgiving and Christmas, however, sweet potatoes are something that I’ve made a regular part of my meal plan, so I figured why not.
The boys love BCC’s and it’s been about a year (or longer) since we’ve had that dish so I figured why not.
Well, that’s enough chit chat, let’s get started. I hope you enjoy these recipes!
Bacon Chili Pepper Chicken Wraps (BCC) Ingredients
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (I used 4)
- Turkey Bacon
- Brown Sugar (¼ cup)
- Chilli Powder (2 tablespoons)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cooking Spray
Bacon Chili Pepper Chicken Wraps Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Spray baking pan with cooking spray
Season chicken breast with brown sugar and chili powder
Cut chicken breasts into small pieces (I split in half and then cut it up like that)
Wrap a bacon strip around each individual chicken piece and seal with a toothpick
Place BCC wraps on the baking pan
Add additional seasoning (optional)
Cook for minutes 37 minutes

Peach Candied Yams Ingredients
- Fresh peaches (I used 3)
- Fresh Sweet Potatoes (I used 3)
- Brown Sugar
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
- Marshmallows (optional)
Peach Candied Yams Instructions
Boil sweet potatoes
Let potatoes cool for about 15 minutes
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
While potatoes are cooling slice the peaches
Slice up the sweet potatoes
Add sweet potatoes and peaches to the pan
Sprinkle in brown sugar (and optional white sugar)
Add a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon
Cook for 40 minutes
Add marshmallows and heat for 10 minutes before serving (optional)

- 3 Fresh peaches
- 3
Fresh Sweet Potatoes - Brown Sugar
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
- Marshmallows
Instructions
- Boil sweet potatoes
