31% of adults in the United States experience some type of anxiety disorder at one point or another during their lives. Furthermore, 73% of people have stress that affects their mental health.  So, as you can see stress and anxiety are very common even outside of being in stressful situations. These conditions can manifest themselves in ways such as causing difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, mood swings, panic attacks, and even headaches. 

While there are many ways to manage stress and anxiety such as cognitive behavioral therapy, medication, dietary supplements, lifestyle changes, and even exercise today, I wanted to share some of the best herbs for stress and anxiety since it is National Stress Awareness Month and I currently suffer from anxiety myself.
