Update your medicine cabinet
A new medicine cabinet can give your bathroom a refreshed look.
We update ours to a barn door medicine cabinet.
Originally there was just a basic white medicine cabinet.
It’s easy to install and makes it easier to keep daily bathroom essentials organized.
By getting rid of your old medicine cabinet you’ll immediately notice a difference in your bathroom.
Update your bathroom fan
Updating your bathroom fan is probably not the first thing that comes to mind when you think about cheap DIY bathroom updates.
However, there are some pretty cool options available.
For my master bathroom, I went with a Bluetooth speaker LED bathroom fan, which eliminates the need for a shower speaker or nightlight.
It’s great for listening to music or podcasts while getting ready in the morning or when relaxing in the bath.
Once I move on to the other bathrooms I plan on swapping out the fans in those for this type as well.

Add a shower door
While you can always update the look and feel of your bathroom by adding in new shower curtains and other decor, adding a sliding shower door to your tub can give off a more sleek appearance.
My next cheap DIY bathroom update is going to be adding a frameless bathtub door to my shower.
Plus, even if you do decide to remodel your tub later, you’ll probably still be able to use the same shower door.
Paint
You’d be surprised how much of a difference a fresh coat of paint can make to a room.
Whether you’re looking to change colors entirely or just freshen up your current paint color, you’re sure to notice an immediate improvement.
These affordable DIY bathroom updates can spruce up your bathroom
By making a few of these cheap DIY bathroom updates you’re able to change the entire look and feel of your bathroom without paying the price of a bathroom remodel.
Sometimes the cheapest changes can have the biggest effects on the aesthetics of a bathroom.
