Can you believe that Christmas is actually knocking on our door now? I can’t, but I’m already ready!
Shopping is done (except for the Christmas Eve Box goodies) and I’ve already gotten all of our decorations (they just have to be put up). The boys are super excited about winter break and honestly, I’m looking forward to a few days off work because I have really been racking up some major working hours this past couple of weeks.
Anyways, the plan is either today or tomorrow to get the Christmas decorations up, therefore, today I thought I would share with you how I plan to decorate our condo this Christmas in case you’re late with your Christmas decorations like me. Make sure to keep a look on my Instagram as I’m sure I’ll be sharing the finished result there.
Put a Christmas Wreath on the Door
I’m embarrassed to say that currently we still have our fall decorations up outside. Life has been busy with trying to find a new house to move too, me taking on a new role with one of my clients, and trying to balance all of my other responsibilities on a day to day basis.
Since the weather people are already calling for snow here, we aren’t going to put anything on the ground, but we are going to put up a cute Christmas wreath.
If you haven’t purchased a Christmas wreath for your door yet I highly suggest that you check out the selection of Christmas wreaths that are available on LynchCreekWreaths.com. They have a great selection of options available, so you’re sure to find one that you love within your budget.
Go with a Small Tree
When we moved here from our larger condo, we decided to get rid of the big Christmas tree simply because there just isn’t enough space. Therefore, this year I decided to just get a small one so Santa can still come, but it doesn’t take up a lot of space in the living room either. I purchased a 6 foot Pre-Lit Tree, but I will tell you I was super close to going with a tree from Geek My Tree for convenience.
Decorate Your Windows with Lights
One thing I miss about having a larger condo is decorating all of the windows with the fake snow and hanging lights around them. However, this year we’re trying something new by using the Star Shower Winter Wonderland projector and the Star Shower Slideshow.
I must admit that this isn’t a bad idea though since cleanup will be a breeze when it’s time to pack Christmas up.
Set Out Some Christmas Scented Candles
I am a huge candle addict. I absolutely love them and change them according to the season. Therefore, it’s probably no surprise to some of you that setting out Christmas scented candles have made this list. I have a few of my favorites out already, but I still have to do my annual Bath & Body Works haul so I can really step up my candle game.
Final Thoughts on Christmas Condo Decorations
As you can see, just because you live in a condo it doesn’t mean that you have to skip decorating for Christmas. You can still bring the Christmas festivities in your home without having to compromise your space.

That looks beautiful. My closest friend lives in a condo in something like this would be perfect for them. The candles would do it for me! I LOVE candles probably as much as you!
I haven’t lived in a condo for a long time now and it’s really awesome to go and decorate your home no matter where you live! It’s part of who I am. I think these are awesome tips!
Your post reminded me about my bare windows. I haven’t decorated much since my youngest moved out six years ago. This year I decided it was time and I had some extra help. I went with a huge big around and tall tree. A wreath for the door and many other things most that I had packed away. I did not do anything with my windows though. Some have plastic up but others would look great decorated.
Great ideas! This way, Christmas takes up at little space as possible in my condo.
I always put out candles and lights. The wreath is a great idea! Adds the perfect touch.
Those are wonderful. I prefer small Christmas tree so it will not needing too much space in the house. Thanks for the guidelines .I’ve learned a lot from it. I’ll take note of everything.
I remember when we had an apartment – going small on the tree was definitely the best way to decorate and not overwhelm the space.
I haven’t decorated much this year and I feel so bad about it. These are great tips! Totally needed something like this to get me in the holiday spirit.
These are some great ways to decorate condos in Christmas. I think I need to share this with my cousin, she leaves in condo in Las Vegas and I know she needed this.
