Are cotton candy machines messy?

Surprisingly, the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Cotton Candy Machine isn’t that messy at all. 

Throughout the entire process of making the cotton candy for the kids, the counter remained clean, and afterward, the cleanup of the machine was quick and simple. 

How do you use the Cotton Candy Express Machine?

One of our favorite things about the Cotton Candy Express Machine is how simple it is to use. 

Seriously, guys, your kids can use this machine – under adult supervision of course. 

Before using the machine you will need to read the instruction manual and clean it first. However, using this cotton candy machine is pretty much straightforward. 

These are the basic steps that you need to know to use this cotton candy machine:

1. Turn on the machine and allow it to warm up for 2-3 minutes. 
2. Turn the machine off and add 1 scoop of sugar to the floss head. 
3. Turn the machine back on and allow about 45 seconds for the candy to start collecting.
4. When you see the cotton candy webs forming hold the paper cone inside horizontally and rotate the cone with your fingers to make the cotton candy cone. 
5. Once it’s finished turn off the cotton candy machine and enjoy your cotton candy!

NOTE: If the kids want a fluffier cotton candy cone you can add another scoop of sugar to the floss head. 

Does the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Cotton Candy Machine make a great Christmas gift?

Hawaiian Shaved Ice Cotton Candy Machine Review

Initially, I wasn’t too sure what to expect from the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Cotton Candy Machine because when I think about Hawaiian Shaved Ice I think about their Shaved Ice Machine. 

The kids were super excited for it to come when I told them we would be reviewing a cotton candy machine because like most kids my kids love sweets, however, they aren’t something that they consume on a regular basis. 

The party package arrived with everything we needed to get started:

• The cotton candy machine
• Three sugars ( Blue Raspberry, Cherry, and Grape)
• Scooper
• Cones
• Instruction manual

The instruction manual was a quick read and straightforward. 

Following the instructions, our experience went well. However, the boys did want a fluffier cone, so we had to add in an additional scoop for them to get it to the size they wanted, but the one scoop was more than enough for Ellie. 

It was Ellie’s first time trying cotton candy so she had to adjust to the texture but ended up loving it AND of course, all three boys loved it!

This is easily a 5-star cotton candy machine and we will definitely be putting it to use plenty of more times. 

The best part is it’s so compact so we’re able to store it under the counter without it taking up a ton of space.
