Over the past few months, I have noticed that one of my most visited posts each week is my Coffee Ground Scrub recipe, which tells me that a lot of people are focused on their skin. I don’t blame you, in fact, I have switched up my skin routine again to accommodate the hot summer weather. Therefore, today I wanted to share with you a new body recipe, which includes one of my favorite scents – lavender!
Now let’s get started.
Ingredients
- Coffee grinder
- 1/3 C. oats
- 1 TBS lavender buds
Instructions:
- Grind oats and lavender buds in a coffee grinder until pulverized into a powder. (If you don’t have a coffee grinder, you can use a blender, however, it may take longer and may not be as fine).

- Add 1-2 TBS to warm bath water.
- Soak and relax!
Benefits of Oats

What are your thoughts on this Lavender oatmeal bath soak? Will you be giving it a try this summer?
I bet this is so refreshing. I wonder how I like the scent of lavender. I tried some hand soap with it and I didn’t quite like the smell but wondering if it was mixed with other fragrances. I’ll have to check that out. Any other scents you can mix in? – yolonda
Yolonda,
If lavender isn’t a fit for you, you could substitute it with your favorite fragrance.
I love making bath soaks at home! This looks like a great recipe and one my mom would love to try since it’s so easy to make.
I always wondered what to use my lavender for. Now I know! Thanks for sharing this fun recipe!
I haven’t been able to take a bath in forever being pregnancy and then having delivery complications. This lavender oatmeal bath sounds heavenly.
This is the perfect soak for getting your skin summer ready! And it is so easy to make.
Oh this looks so good! Perfect gift for my Mother’s birthday on 20th. She will love this.
Lavender is one of my favourite scents! I have had trouble sleeping lately so this would be a great solution to my problem! My skin would love a bath like this too!
Oatmeal is so good for the skin. I use an oatmeal based body wash that I love because it makes my skin baby soft. I can only imagine how your skin feels after soaking in this luxurious bath.
There is nothing more relaxing and soothing than lavender! This is so simple to create and totally worth the small amount of time it takes. Thank you I love it!
That sounds like Heaven! I could definitely go for a nice, long soak in a bath with this stuff in it!
I definitely need to try this bath soak out. There’s nothing better than taking long, relaxing baths. I’m sure the lavender makes the bath really calming and I already know that the oatmeal does wonders for the skin. What an awesome combination!
