Lavender Oatmeal Bath Soak

Over the past few months, I have noticed that one of my most visited posts each week is my Coffee Ground Scrub recipe, which tells me that a lot of people are focused on their skin. I don’t blame you, in fact, I have switched up my skin routine again to accommodate the hot summer weather. Therefore, today I wanted to share with you a new body recipe, which includes one of my favorite scents – lavender!

Now let’s get started.

Ingredients

  • Coffee grinder
  • 1/3 C. oats
  • 1 TBS lavender buds

Instructions:

  1. Grind oats and lavender buds in a coffee grinder until pulverized into a powder. (If you don’t have a coffee grinder, you can use a blender, however, it may take longer and may not be as fine).

2. Store in a container with a tight-fitting lid.

To Use:

  1. Add 1-2 TBS to warm bath water.
  2. Soak and relax!

Benefits of Oats

  • Reduces inflammation
  • Moisturizes
  • Soothes skin

Benefits of Lavender

  • Promotes relaxation
  • Reduces stress
  • Contains Antioxidants

What are your thoughts on this Lavender oatmeal bath soak? Will you be giving it a try this summer?

I bet this is so refreshing. I wonder how I like the scent of lavender. I tried some hand soap with it and I didn’t quite like the smell but wondering if it was mixed with other fragrances. I’ll have to check that out. Any other scents you can mix in? – yolonda
