Whatever your reason for not getting checked at least once a year LetsGetChecked can help you knock some of the basic testings out of the way from the comfort of your home.

What’s LetsGetChecked.com?

LetsGetChecked is a medical technology platform that is empowering consumers to take control of their health from the privacy of their own home or even on the go.

They take a 360-degree approach to health and wellness with more than 30 at-home tests that cover women’s health, men’s health, general wellness, and sexual health

Basically, they’re revolutionizing the way you monitor, track, and improve your health from home.

How Does LetsGetChecked Work?

Getting started with LetsGetChecked.com is as easy as deciding on what type of test you want to take and ordering it.

Once the test arrives you’ll then either provide a blood or urine sample and ship it back to them via UPS.

From my experience taking the Cholesterol test, the process is pretty much straightforward.

Basically, all I had to do was activate the kit, then follow the simple to following instructions that guided me through the process of pricking my finger to collect a blood sample, fill out the box, and schedule a pickup with UPS.

Typically, you’ll receive your results in 2-5 business days. In my case, I received my results in exactly 2 business days (on Thanksgiving), which I thought was extremely quick. Once the results are ready they send you an email and a text letting you know your results are ready.

The best part is the entire process is anonymous.

Pros

Things I like about LetsGetChecked include:

  • Ability to test from home
  • Simple to collect blood samples
  • Quick test results
  • The ability to connect with medical professionals if you have questions
  • Easy to understand test results
  • No need to go to a lab
  • A variety of tests available
  • Affordable pricing (Get 20% off your first order using the code HEALTHY20)
  • Helpful videos to guide you through the process
  • Testing is anonymous

Cons

Things that I noticed LetsGetChecked didn’t include:

  • Option to use insurance for the kits
  • Could have a few more common testing options available

Who I’d Recommend Home Testing To

If you’re someone who lives a busy life or don’t like going to the doctor, LetsGetChecked is a great alternative for you. Additionally, if you don’t have health insurance doing an at-home test is probably cheaper than paying for a doctor’s visit, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room visit out of pocket.

How Long Does It Take to Get Results?

The shipping label LetsGetChecked provides allows you to ship your kit back with overnight shipping. I spent less than $12 on shipping and expected results to come back within 2 to 5 business days.

I shipped my test back 2 days before Thanksgiving and was expecting my results to be delayed. However, on Thanksgiving, I received an email and a text letting me know that my results were available.

LetsGetChecked Review

My experience using LetsGetChecked.com for the first time was pretty positive.

The kit arrived quickly and the results came back quicker than I was expecting, especially since it was the holidays.

I love that the entire process is anonymous and the results are really easy to understand.

In case you’re wondering my Cholesterol test did come back normal. However, in the event it didn’t LetsGetChecked also is able to help you get started on a treatment plan.

The only thing I was nervous about during the process was drawing my own blood. This is the reason I avoid the doctor. I’m a slow bleeder and my veins move so having blood drawn at the doctors is a very unpleasant and painful experience.

With LetsGetChecked I did have to prick my finger three times to get a full sample, but the entire process took less than 5 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all.

Overall, if you need to get testing done, I would definitely recommend you check the options available at LetsGetChecked to see if they have the test you need available.

Make sure to use the code HEALTHY20 to take 20% off of your first order.

Conclusion: LetsGetChecked.com Is The Industry Leader in At-Home Testing

While LetsGetChecked is the first at-home testing service I have tried, I have seen other companies advertising similar services.

Based on my research LetsGetChecked has the best reviews, serves more locations, and has one of the easiest user interfacings around.

Is at-home testing something that you think would be a good fit for your lifestyle?
