A Few Teacher Projects on the Limeades for Learning Site That Need Donations
Do you want to know about some of the projects you can support on Limeades for Learning?
A Carpet to Learn From – Fund a brand-new carpet in a low-income area. The learning block carpet includes the letters of the alphabet to help support young children in learning to read and write for the first time.
Headphones for Literacy – Provide a title one school with headphones. Enhance literacy stations and let students learn how to use computers and study stories.
STEMulating Math Games – Help a school that hosts students with special education needs to reinforce basic math skills. These board games will enable them to improve their math skills in a fun and engaging manner.
It Took Me Less Than 5 Minutes to Donate
With the complimentary gift card I received, I decided to donate to Coding for Scientists. I chose this project because the teacher was looking to get Botley to use in the classroom. My boys have Botley at home, so I already know what a great educational tool it is and thought it was awesome that a teacher wanted to incorporate it into the classroom.
Using the DonorsChoose.org site was simple and quick. I was able to select the donation amount, read about how they came up with the pricing and checkout all in less than 5 minutes.
Afterward, you’re able to have the option to have the children make handmade thank you cards and leave a message as to why you choose to fund their project.
It’s something that took very little of my time, but I hope the rewards that the kids get from this small act of kindness is huge.
Limeades for Learning and the Fall Voting Campaign can provide children with the education they deserve. Teachers will be better equipped to offer their students a school experience that drives them forward.
Will you be a part of helping them to do this?
