Since the Limeades for Learning program originated, SONIC has donated more than $13.1 million to public school classrooms, which was used to provide learning materials and teaching resources to more than one million students.
Currently, they’re celebrating their Annual Fall Voting Campaign and they could use your votes.
Why you should vote
By taking less than five minutes of your time, you’re able to help public school teachers get the essentials they need to help their students.
SONIC has committed to donating $1 million dollars to public school teachers asking for donations via the Limeades for Learning program.
You’re able to vote up until October 27th, 2019 and SONIC will be donating to projects weekly.
How to participate in the annual fall voting campaign
To vote for your favorite projects go to LimeadesforLearning.com. Sign up for a free account, select your favorite project under ‘voting’ and select vote.
They start you out with 4 votes, but you can earn additional votes by doing one of the following:
- Voting daily
- Redeeming the sticker code from your last SONIC visit
Other Ways to Help Public School Classrooms
If you really like a project, you’re able to make a donation via DonorsChoose.org.
I’ve donated a few times now and the process is always quick and easy.
You’ll be able to help students get access to STEM materials, musical instruments, and other things needed to help them succeed.
If your child is in public school, you should share DonorsChoose.org, with them.
Plus, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that the money is actually going where you intended it to go, thanks to DonorsChoose.org’s process.
Here’s a quick rundown of their process:
- Before accepting a project a campaign specialist verifies the campaign.
- Once funded the campaign manager purchases and sends the requested materials to the school.
- The requestor updates their campaign page with photos and/or videos of the products arriving and (if requested) they’ll have the students send you handwritten thank you notes.
