Tech gadgets for busy moms help ensure that their day goes a lot smoother and they’re able to be as productive as possible.
As a work-at-home mom with a 1-year-old, I really have to manage my time correctly and follow a tight schedule if I want to make it to bed by midnight.
These are the tech gadgets that I use to ensure I can stay on top of chores, spend time with all 4 kids, maintain a healthy relationship, and perform my best at work.

A Good Pair of Earbuds
A good pair of earbuds is a must because they can be used to take calls while cleaning or nursing, to listen to your favorite music when working out, or even when traveling.
Earbuds are one investment that you can be confident in knowing that you’re going to put to good use.
I use mine multiple times throughout the day!
Previously, I was using a pair of earbuds from Boise. However, after 4 years of daily usage, they finally died on me (no longer holding a charge) so I’ve recently switched to iLive’s Truly Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds.
While obviously, my prior earbuds were a good investment, with the cost of living constantly increasing I wanted to go for a more affordable option.
With iLive’s Truly Wireless Noise Canceling Earbuds I’m able to still do the same things as I did with my Boise earbuds and they have all of the features that I was looking for including:
- Recharging/storage case
- Waterproof and sweatproof
- Long-lasting battery
- Comfortable earpieces
I use them when commuting (I have anxiety so when traveling I throw my earbuds in and watch Hulu or Netflix), when cleaning, while doing tedious tasks at work, and also when working out.
If you use any other smart devices in your home or have children living in your home, you’re going to wish you purchased an Alexa Echo Show when they were first released.
I’ve had mine for a little under 2 years and it is one of the most used devices in our house.
From setting timers, asking questions, playing music, and adjusting the thermostat it definitely gets its use.
I started off with one in the kitchen and then added them to other parts of my home AND I even consider it to be a nursery essential.
As an executive assistant and customer support agent, it’s important for me to be able to provide quick responses at work.
My Apple watch not only makes sure that I can see my work emails and DMs instantly, but it also serves the purpose of allowing me to keep tabs on my health, make calls/send texts, and utilize most of my phone’s features from my wrist.
While all busy moms can benefit from a smartwatch, I definitely recommend that work-at-home moms invest in one if you haven’t already.
A tablet, like a smartwatch, serves multiple purposes throughout your day.
I use mine to keep tabs on the kids (Ring camera app), take calls/send texts, respond to work emails, watch shows/movies (when nursing), play games (when nursing), and perform other functions that I would do on my computer.
I’m an Apple product person so I do use an iPad, but any tablet that syncs with your phone and computer will suffice.
I can do most work tasks from my iPad, which allows me to not be glued to my desk all day AND Ellie loves using it for Facetime calls with my mom.
If you don’t have a video doorbell or any type of camera installed in your home, you need to get some ASAP.
Ring products not only help you keep your home secure, but they also work to your benefit by allowing you to manage your time wisely.
Before my ring I was having to constantly keep running up and down the stairs either to answer the door, check on the big boys, or relay a message.
Now I can check in on the older kids while being upstairs with Ellie, check in on Hoss when we go out, and even talk to solicitors or mail delivery people all from an app.
It’s super hard to keep a clean house with four kids and a dog.
Plus, with a one-year-old that’s on the move now, having a clean floor is super important.
With a large family that means floors have to be done daily AND you probably can imagine how much time it takes to sweep, mop, and vacuum the entire house each day.
If you’ve already been considering investing in a robotic vacuum one of the top robotic vacuum brands for busy moms is Neato Robotics.
Understandably when you’re super busy, it can seem hard to be able to fit in 30 minutes of exercise each day.
While I love running, sometimes spending 30 minutes on the treadmill (if I can’t fit in an outdoor run) sounds dreadful.
Thankfully, Quest 2 makes working out fun!
With apps such as BeatSaber and The Thrill of the Fight, I’m able to make sure I’m staying active each day while also having fun.
Being a mom can be hard at times.
You have to balance work, parenting, your relationship, staying fit, and chores to keep the household running smoothly.
It’s easy to find yourself feeling overstimulated or burned out.
These are the must-have gadgets that help me keep my head on straight each day while also maximizing my time and being productive.
